Driftwood Beach, Jacksonville Teen Photographer
Sophia, the one that made me a mom, turns 15 next Tuesday! I seriously can not believe I’m a mom to a 15 year old lol! I can truly call myself a Jacksonville teen photographer! The only thing on her mind these days in getting a drivers permit :/ The most exciting part about this session was that she had planned it all. From the location, to the dress she wanted to wear. She even spent a full 20 minutes curling her hair! I’m just happy that we have reached the moment that she is ASKING me to take her photos instead of me bribing her to force a smile.
Originally she wanted to do her birthday photoshoot in two different places, but life got in the way and we just did the driftwood beach on Big Talbot Island near Amelia Island. She wanted to add some drama to the photographs by wearing black and even had the guts to ask me to edit them a little bolder! The weather leading up to this session was freezing for Florida standards, but we braved through the chilly temps and cold wind. With the sun it still makes it look so warm!
You only turn 15 once and photoshoots are not just for little kids! A photography session to remember this carefree milestone is always a good idea. There are so many fun and unique locations in Jacksonville for a teen photography session and I can’t wait to photograph in all of them!
