Washington Oaks Park Maternity Session

It’s no secret that Florida is home to many beautiful state parks. When I moved to Jacksonville last fall, the Washington Oaks Gardens was at the top of my list of locations for a photography session. When I arrived to scout out the gardens, I was even more impressed with its beautiful manicured landscapes. The walkways were lined with lush greenery and the rose garden was full of roses! I also could not have chosen a better family to share this experience with.

I first met Jessica when we started the planning process of a newborn session for her twin boys Enzo and Ezra. Unfortunately we had to meet in person much too soon under circumstances beyond our earthy understanding. I was honored to capture this heartbreaking session and they forever hold a place in my heart.

When Jessica contacted me to tell me they are pregnant, I was so excited for them! They are so sweet and caring couple. Their new addition is going to be so blessed to have them as parents! I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph them in this next chapter of their family story!! Stay tuned for that blog and to know the gender!!

Washington Oaks Beach Maternity Photographer

The best part about the Washington Oaks park location is that the beach is just a short, less than 5 minutes, drive away! You can change your dress for a second look. There are facilities at the park and at the beach to change and to wash your feet afterwards.

When we were planning the session, Jessica asked me for a portion of the session to be a little “extra” and extra is what we got!! The dress was borrowed from my client closet and it was just stunning on this mama. Now for the hard part, waiting for this sweet baby to arrive!!
